■ Drill 6 ' deep hand-auger borings within the proposed roadway improvement <br /> corridor to evaluate the in-place subsoils and measure groundwater levels . These <br /> borings will be drilled at a horizontal spacing of about 500 ' . Approximately 10 <br /> borings will be drilled. <br /> ■ Provide a Seasonal High Water Table (SHWT) estimate associated with the <br /> proposed storm water management facility along Oslo Road between 27th and 20th <br /> Avenue . <br /> ■ Prepare and submit brief engineering report of our findings, conclusions and <br /> recommendations as they pertain to the planned construction. <br /> Utility Permitting <br /> The ENGINEER will submit a separate FDEP public drinking water permit to support the <br /> relocation of the 20" water main in the vicinity of the Lateral ` J ' Canal Crossing. The consultant <br /> will coordinate with FDEP in regards to obtaining these permits . The COUNTY will be <br /> responsible for all permit application and agency review fees . <br /> " SECTION V — COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant <br /> to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following : <br /> A. Professional Services Fee <br /> The basic compensation mutually agreed upon by the ENGINEER and the COUNTY is as <br /> follows : <br /> Task Labor Fee <br /> Lump Sum Components <br /> Oslo Road/ Lateral J Canal Crossing $ 17, 721 <br /> Geotechnical Investigation $ 39850 <br /> Utility Permitting $ 1 ,600 <br /> "SECTION XVI — DURATION OF AGREEMENT" is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The time for completion of the 90% design drawings, permit applications, and Engineer's Opinion <br /> of Probable Construction Cost for the excerpted project shall be two (2) months following <br /> receiving the authorization to proceed.
