The school is currently being upgraded with a full sized standby
generator which will enable the facility to serve as a special needs facility and shelter during
natural disasters, including hurricanes. In order to provide similar level of service, it is
recommended to provide permanent standby auxiliary service to the existing lift station #209.
With construction of a new in-line sewer pump station under this work order, permanent standby
power can be provided from this facility on the school site with a new electrical service to the
existing pump station #209 (See attached site plan) .
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Consultant will design a new electrical feeder between the existing lift-station #209 to the new in-
line pump station site. The design will consist of removing the existing 208v service to the station,
installing a 480-208v step-up transformer at station #209, sizing and routing a new electrical
feeder, and modifying the new motor control center (MCC) at the new in-line pump station.
y SCHEDULE
The design will be incorporated into the existing design and take one additional week.
FEES
Consultant will provide these Services as described herein for a lump sum amount of $3 ,500.
We will provide these services in accordance with our Continuing Services Contract Agreement for
Professional Services dated April 6, 2004, amended April 7'", 2007, with Indian River County, a
political subdivision of the state of Florida.
S:\041\041293000 1RCU - 90th Ave Pump Station\041293000Vob Start, Scope\Amendment # 1 WO #16.doc Page 1
