1. Aluminum Alloy, plate and sheet 11209-3003-1114, extruded trim B308 -6063-T5 & <br />T6, structure shapes B308 -6061-T5, structural pipe and tube B429, castings B214. <br />2. Structural steel, plates and shapes A36, plate and steel for forming A283 Grade C. <br />3. Structural bolts, specifically called out on the Plans A-325. <br />4. All hardware shall be 316 stainless steel, unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Steel stud anchors for embedded plates, A-108, grade 1020, 60 ksi. <br />6. Galvanizing, A123. <br />B. Comply with the provisions of the following standards except as otherwise shown or <br />specified. <br />1. AA Specifications for aluminum structures. <br />2. AISC Specifications for design, fabrication and erection of structural steel for <br />buildings. <br />3. AWS code for welding in building construction. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit shop drawings and manufacturer's descriptive literature as applicable for all metal <br />fabrications in accordance with Section 01300. No items shall be fabricated prior to <br />reviewing approval by Engineer. Minimum scale of drawings and elevations shall be 3/4 in. <br />equals 1 ft., details enlarged to adequate size for clarity, show anchorage. <br />Be Where certain equipment and the like requires unique support, provide such members only <br />after careful coordination of shop drawings for the equipment. <br />1.06 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Use all means necessary to protect the Products of this Section before, during, and after <br />installation and to protect the installed work and materials of all other trades. <br />Be In the event of damage, immediately make all repairs and replacements necessary to the <br />approval of the Engineer and at no additional cost to the Owner. <br />C. Coordinate delivery of metal fabrications with work of other Sections. <br />1.07 Provide fasteners for all items under this Section. All nuts, bolts, washers, back up rings, etc, <br />shall be 316 SS unless otherwise called out on the drawings or specified elsewhere herein. <br />1.08 Verify critical dimensions of the work on the job. Form items to accurate sizes and shapes, <br />with sharp lines and angles. Punch and shear to leave smooth surfaces. Weld permanent <br />connections, grind exposed welds smooth.
