AF. ASME/ANSI B 16 .9 — Pipe Fittings . <br /> 1 .04 SUBMITTALS <br /> A . Product Data : Provide data on pipe fittings , valves , and accessories . <br /> B . Manufacturer's Certificate : Certify that pipe , fittings , and valves meet or exceed respective <br /> ANSI, AWWA , and/or NSF Standards . <br /> 1 .05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Perform Work in accordance with Indian River County Utilities Minimum Design and <br /> Construction Standards , where applicable . <br /> B . Fabricated piping shall meet all ASME code requirements as specified herein. <br /> C . Valves : Manufacturer's name and pressure rating marked on valve body. <br /> 1 .06 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br /> A. Deliver and store valves in shipping containers with labeling in place . <br /> I <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 GENERAL <br /> Although they may not be specifically shown on the drawings or called for elsewhere in the <br /> Technical Provisions , the Contractor shall include the cost of all fittings, piping supports, and <br /> miscellaneous appurtenances needed to provide a secure, workable pipe and valve system. <br /> Equipment suction and discharge piping and other exposed piping shall be supported by reinforced <br /> concrete pedestals, piers, adjustable pipe supports, thrust restraints, hangers, and tie rods as <br /> necessary to insure a stable installation. Adjustable pipe supports or piers shall be arranged to <br /> relieve attached equipment of all strain due to the weight of the pipe, fittings, valves, and the <br /> contents of the pipe. <br /> 2 .02 PRODUCT LIST <br /> IAll products shall conform to the Approval Product List of the Indian River County Utilities <br /> minimum Design and Construction Standards, latest edition, unless specifically specified herein. <br /> 2.03 PIPE <br /> A. Ductile Iron Pipe: Ductile iron pipe and fittings shall conform to AWWA C150, C151 and <br /> C153 . <br /> 1 . Joints : Buried pipe shall be AWWA approved push-on or mechanical joint pipe <br /> I (AWWA/ANSI Ci l l /C21 . 11 ). Exposed joints shall be AWWA approved flanged <br /> joint pipe, in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C115 , or as detailed on the drawings. <br /> 044572017 <br /> 15100-3 <br />
