( "KHA " ) is pleased to submit this Work <br /> Authorization request for providing engineering services related to the <br /> HYDAC sand filter installation and minor site plan modification for the <br /> South R . O . WTP Clearwell Addition and Pipe Replacement project . Our <br /> project scope of services , schedule , and fee are below . <br /> Task I — HYDAC Sand Filter Installation <br /> Design and implementation of certain peripherals to the HYDAC unit was <br /> requested from staff including drain piping alignment to on -site pond , <br /> SCADA system implementation to allow monitoring and control of the <br /> HYDAC unit , layout of HYDAC unit with new raw water piping and <br /> electrical requirements for the unit . <br /> These services include preparing construction drawings for process piping <br /> to and from the HYDAC Unit that was selected by owners representative <br /> and is being purchased by Indian River County . This task will include <br /> coordination with the on - going FRP Piping Replacement Construction <br /> project . This coordination includes providing the design of the concrete <br /> pedestals . drain piping , shop drawings , and electrical details for <br /> installation of this unit . <br /> Task 2 — Minor Site Plan Modification <br /> Assist the utility staff in preparation of the application to the Community <br /> Development Department for the minor site plan modification necessary <br /> for the contractor to obtain a building permit for the construction of the <br /> Clean.vell and Post Treatment Facility at the South R . O . WTP . This task <br /> will include a meeting with the Technical Review Committee ( TRC <br /> 7G r , <br />
