g , G . <br /> LEASE EXTENSION a Do - / (07 <br /> This Agreement for Lease Extension ("Amendment") entered into on the 3rd day of <br /> June , 2008, by Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, 1801 <br /> 27` Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960 ("County"), and Jeraldine Lawrence, a sole proprietor ("Tenant") <br /> whose address is 1959 43`d Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960. <br /> WITNESSETH : <br /> The County purchased Tenant' s property on April 4, 2008 . The property consists of a 0.26 <br /> acre lot and a two story building where Tenant operates Lennie ' s Lounge; and <br /> WHEREAS , the purchase of the property was in lieu of eminent domain, as the County is <br /> planning widening and improvements to 43rd Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the consideration for purchase of the property, the County agreed to <br /> lease-back the property to Tenant for a period of sixty days; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Tenant has requested a thirty day extension to the lease and the County is <br /> not planning to begin road construction of the 43rd Avenue project within that time; and <br /> WHEREAS , the County has no objection to extending its lease with Tenant for an additional <br /> thirty day period, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual terms and promises stated herein, and <br /> other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby <br /> acknowledged, the County and Tenant agree as follows : <br /> I . The foregoing recitals are incorporated as if fully restated herein. <br /> 2 . Paragraph one ( 1 ) of that certain Lease dated April 4, 2008 is hereby amended to <br /> terminate on July 3 , 2008 . <br /> 3 . Except as amended herein, the terms and conditions of the Lease shall remain in full <br /> force and effect.
