The County Engineer requested authorization to re -set the <br />monuments on Ambersand Beach Park. <br />The County Engineer presented a plat of Carll Heights for <br />tentative approval. After some discussion, Motion was made by Commis- <br />sioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously <br />carried, that the plat is tentatively approved with the stipulations <br />that the subdivider submit a formal plat as required by the county, that <br />he submit a specific drainage plan, that we accept 25 foot right of way <br />for sixth street and that he give the County 25 feet additional right <br />of way on Emerson Avenue. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner Haffield and unanimously carried, that Commissioner Waddell and <br />Ed Schmucker are authorized to attend a Regional Council meeting in <br />Deland on April 10 and Ed Schmucker is authorized to attend a Planning <br />and Zoning meeting in Tampa in May. <br />Mrs. Kathy Carter appeared before the Board to inquire about <br />the possibility of setting up a juvenile shelter. She stated she was <br />here to present the problem and would like the Board to keep it in mind <br />for future planning. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the following Item to Item Transfer <br />be made in order to pay the County Attorney $550.00 per month. <br />GENERAL REVENUE FUND From To <br />951 Contingencies $ 900.00 <br />219 Salary County Attorney $900:00 <br />At the request of Al -Webber, Deputy Clerk, the payment of <br />$11,300.00 to Fire Control and $6,000.00 to Publicity were approved. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County having been <br />audited, were examined and found correct, were approved and warrants <br />issued in settlement of same as follows: General Revenue Fund, Warrant <br />Nos. 1752 to 1810 both inclusive, Road and Bridge Fund, Warrant Nos. 1093 <br />to 1130, both inclusive, Fine and Forfeiture Fund Warrant Nos. 144 to 152, <br />both inclusive and Capital Outlay Fund, Warrant Nos. 64, 65 and 66.
