SECOND EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT FOR MANAGEMENT AND <br />OPERATIONS OF INDIAN RIVER PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES <br />This Second Extension of Agreement For Management and Operations of Indian River <br />Public Transportation Services (Agreement), entered into this 20th day of May , 2025, by <br />and between the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (County) and the Senior <br />Resource Association, Inc. (SRA), <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the Parties entered into an Agreement For Management and Operations of <br />Indian River Public Transportation Services on June 18, 2018, to establish the responsibilities of <br />each party with respect to obtaining and administering public transportation capital and operating <br />assistance authorized by 49 USC, Section 5307 and other provisions of Federal and State law <br />governing the provision of Public Transportation services. The purpose of the Agreement is to <br />comply with Federal Transit Administration and FDOT requirements to establish formal <br />procedures for grant application and administration activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement called for an initial term of five years from 2018 to 2023, with <br />two 2 -year extensions beyond the initial five (5) year period of the agreement, exercisable at the <br />sole discretion of the County, and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement was extended by two years by the County on June b, 2023, <br />with an extended expiration date of June 30, 2025. <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the County and the SRA that the Agreement be extended <br />for the second two (2) year term. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual undertakings herein and other good <br />and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties <br />agree, as follows: <br />1. Recitals. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein. <br />2. The Agreement is hereby extended to provide for an additional term of two years from July <br />1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. <br />3.
