RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - 080 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING DEDICATIONS <br />FROM VERO WEST BUSINESS PARK BY PLAT PURSUANT TO <br />FLORIDA STATUTE SECTION 177.081. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 177, a dedication may be made to a local <br />governing body via a plat recorded in the public records of the county in which that local governing <br />body is situated; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 177.011, Florida Statute, no dedication on a plat recorded <br />in the public records shall be deemed to be accepted by a local governing body without the local <br />governing body acting to formally accept said dedication; and <br />WHEREAS, the plat of Vero West Business Park recorded at Plat Book 34, Page 56, contains <br />dedications to the County for certain easements, rights, and/or allowances; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has determined that execution of this Resolution to be in the best <br />interest of the citizens and residents of the County; and <br />WHEREAS, through the approval of this resolution the Board is accepting the dedications <br />made to it via plat in the Vero West Business Park plat recorded at Plat Book 34, Page 56. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recitals Adopted. That the above recitals are true and correct and are hereby <br />adopted and confirmed as part of this Resolution. <br />Section 2. Dedication Acceptance. The County hereby accepts, by operation of law, the <br />dedications made to it on the plat of Vero West Business Park recorded at Plat Book 34, Page 56, <br />Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />adoption. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Joseph E. 1e9cher who <br />moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susm Admis and, upon being <br />put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Deryl Loar AYE <br />Vice -Chairman Laura Moss AYE <br />Commissioner Susan Adams AYE <br />Commissioner Joseph E.
