F'206 <br />The severalz bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were <br />examined and found to be correct, were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settle- <br />ment of same. The said bills and accounts being on file in the Clerk's office, and . <br />the warrants so issued from the various funds being listed and set out in detail in the <br />County finance record and reference to said Finance record is made a part of these <br />minutes as fully and completely as if the said warrants were set out herein in detail. <br />The several County Depositories filed their monthly statements showing receipts <br />and disbursements of the various funds of the County, which have been checked were f <br />to -be correct. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board <br />adjourned until the next regular meeting, unless sooner called together by the Chairman <br />ATTEST: Chairman. <br />Clerk. <br />VEDNEWAY2 APRIT, 24th 1929. <br />The Board of county Commissioners in arra. for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court Rouse in Vera Beach on Wednesday, April 24th 1929 at 10 o'clock A.M. with <br />the following members of the Board presents Albert O.Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; <br />J.W.ImBruce; T.J.P.Hamilton and John H.Atkin. .Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk, <br />and Clark S.Rice, sheriff. <br />The Chaimn.an announced this meet was called for the purpose of discussing the <br />advisability of placing guards on the highway to protect this territory against the <br />Mediterranean Fly. <br />County agent, W.E.Evans, was present and discussed the suitation with respect to <br />the pest. <br />Motion by J.D.Yongue, and seconded that the City Council of ,Sebastian, Vabasso, <br />and Vero Beach be requested to pass necessary ordinance to place guards on the streets <br />of the cities and town to prohibit transportation of fruit and vegetables unless <br />properly inspected and certificate of authority to transport same given, except removi <br />fruit from grove to packing houses in this County.
