1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />lUE0AY 9 JUDY 2nd 1929. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met <br />at the Court ,House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday, July 2nd, 1929, with the <br />following County Commissioners present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman, J.D.Yongue; <br />J.W.IaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin. Also present were miles Marren, Clerk <br />and Clark =S. Rice, Sheriff. <br />The Minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved by the Board. <br />Mrs Lucy M. Baird appeared before the Board regarding J. G. McCorvey, now serving <br />a jail sentence for vagrancy, and explained his physical condition. It was moved, <br />seconded andcarried that the Sheriff be instructed to return him to Indian River County <br />and complete his sentence under .the supervision and directio4 of the Sheriff in this <br />County. <br />County Agent W.E.Evans appeared \before the Board and filed his monthly report <br />of activities, and made a report on the fruit fly situation over the State. <br />B. J. Danberg appeared before the Board regarding road North of main canal and <br />East of F E C Rey. It was oid.ered the County Engineer grade this road and request the <br />City of Vero Beach to pay its porpo rtionate part of the cost. <br />Iffi.les Warren, Clerk of the Circuit Court filed his report of fees and commissions <br />collected and expenses in operating his office for the six months period January lst <br />1929 to June 30th 1929, as provided by law. He was instructed to prepare proposal and submit same on <br />ly 9th next. <br />Mr. laudermilk appeared before the Board regarding ditch on Road G-7 West. <br />
