8/22/86 <br />pno t <br />LR -Planning <br />RS/vh <br />ORDINANCE NO. 86-64 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />All that part of the southwest of the southwest $ of <br />Section 4, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, lying south of <br />the Main Canal, as shown by unnumbered tract marked <br />"Copeland" on plat of Indian River Farms recorded on page 25 <br />of Plat Book 2, Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida; <br />LESS AND EXCEPT the parcel described as follows, From the <br />southwest corner of Section 4, Township 33 south, Range 39 <br />East, Indian River County, Florida, run east along the south <br />line of Section 4 a distance of 80 feet to a point on the <br />east right-of-way line of Lateral "B" right-of-way; thence <br />continues east along the same line a distance of 288 feet to <br />the Point of Beginning of the parcel herein described; thence <br />run north 280 feet; thence run east 319 feet; thence run <br />south 280 feet; thence run west 319 feet to the Point of <br />Beginning; and <br />LESS AND EXCEPT the west 80 feet thereof being the <br />right-of-way for Lateral "B" Canal, and, <br />LESS AND EXCEPT the south 30 feet thereof being the <br />right-of-way for Rosewood Road (16th Street), <br />Said land now lying and being in Indian River County, <br />Florida, and containing 26.235 acres, more or less. <br />Be changed from A-1, Agricultural District, to RS -3, <br />Single -Family Residential District. <br />
