RESOLUTION NO 2003-095 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIbA TO SCHEDULE AND COMPLETE <br />IMPROVEMENTS AT OSLO BOAT RAMP WITH FUNDING FROM THE <br />FLORIDA RECREATION DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida wishes <br />to construct the following described project for the enjoyment of the citizenry of Indian River <br />County and the State of Florida: <br />Project Title: Oslo Boat Ramp <br />Total Estimated Cost: $400,000.00 <br />Description: This project includes the improvement and renovation of <br />an existing primitive boat ramp for boating access to the <br />Indian River, paving the roadway to the boat ramp, parking <br />for vehicles and boat trailers and the addition of new <br />landscaping. <br />WHEREAS, Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program funds are needed to <br />fund the project, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners that County staff is authorized to make application to the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection for a grant from the Florida Recreation Development Assistance <br />Program for funds to be used for the repair and construction of the boat ramp and <br />accompanying facilities and improvements. <br />AND, be it further resolved that, the Board of County Commissioners will schedule and <br />complete the project, including, but not limited to, adding the construction of the Oslo Boat <br />Ramp to the Capital Improvement Program section of Indian River County's Comprehensive <br />Plan and amend said Comprehensive Plan following notice to all parties and public hearing on <br />the amendment. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Adams , and the <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Gi nn , and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />F:\Public Works\Capital Projects\0381-0slo Boat Ramp\Oslo Boat RESOLUTION.doc <br />03 <br />
