FLOOD IF HE HAD ANY AMENDMENT TO HIS <br />PROPOSED BUDGET. <br />DR. FLOOD STATED THAT HE WOULD REQUEST THE BOARD TO ESTABLISH <br />A MILLAGE IDENTICAL TO THAT LEVIED FOR THE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />LAST YEAR, OR .13840 INSTEAD OF THE ,1341 ADVERTISED. DR. FLOOD CON- <br />TINUED THAT HE HAD ANTICIPATED GETTING BY WITH A LITTLE BIT LESS THAN <br />THAT BUT, AFTER MEETING WITH THE STATE FISCAL PEOPLE, HE DISCOVERED <br />THAT WHILE THE ADVERTISED MILLAGE WOULD BALANCE THE BUDGET, IT WAS <br />NOT SUFFICIENT TO MEET THEIR STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS TO COVER THE BUD- <br />GET FROM .JUNE THROUGH THE TIME THE TAX MONIES ARE MADE AVAILABLE. <br />16 <br />I <br />1 PACE. <br />SEP 2 61977 <br />
