Wednesday, February 8, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at, the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, February 8, 19$4, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. - Bowman; <br />and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. <br />Wright, County Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Director <br />of General Services; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board <br />of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; <br />Dean Longo, Bailiff; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and Commis- <br />sioner Lyons led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />OMB Director Barton reported that Public Works Director <br />Davis had requested an item be added regarding release of a <br />portion of the performance bond put up by Walker Construc- <br />tion -for work done at the Tracking Station Park. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />added the above item to today's agenda as <br />Item 12-B. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested that a short report on the <br />Jail situation be added to today's agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />FEB8 1984. <br />
