Wednesday, March 7, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, March 7, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice <br />Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William <br />C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; <br />and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Raymond Coppage of King's Baptist Church gave <br />the invocation, and Commissioner Wodtke led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />added to today's agenda as Item 18 B 2, out - <br />of -county travel to a conference on Florida__ <br />Growth Issues in Winter Park on March 23rd. <br />Administrator Wright reported that Sheriff Dobeck has <br />.requested an opportunity to address the Board concerning <br />replenishing his budget for overtime pay for his Deputies. <br />MAR 71984 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />added the above item to today's agenda.as Item <br />15 c. <br />B1t�lf PACE 27q, <br />I <br />
