Wednesday, March 21, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, March 21, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice <br />Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William <br />C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wriqht, Countv <br />Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Stan Sanford, First Baptist Church, Wabasso, <br />gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Lyons requested the addition of a brief <br />report on the Jail situation. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />added the above item to today's agenda. <br />Administrator Wright wished to add discussion in regard <br />to canceling next week's meeting as there are very few items <br />on the agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to add the item in regard to canceling <br />next week's regular meeting to the Consent <br />Agenda as Item D. <br />R 211984 5 W 56 asp <br />
