� � r <br />Wednesday, October 24, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, October 24, <br />1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. Lyons, Vice <br />Chairman; William C. Wodtke, Jr., Margaret C. Bowman, and Richard <br />N. Bird. Chairman Scurlock was out of the County on County <br />business. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; <br />Chris Paull, Assistant Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; and <br />Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Vice Chairman Lyons called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Robert Dickinson, Asbury Methodist Church, gave the <br />invocation and Administrator Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of a discussion re sewage disposal problems at Blue <br />Cypress Lake. <br />Assistant County Attorney Chris Paull requested the addition <br />of two items: <br />1) Consideration of exercise our options on four different sites <br />for the west County sewage treatment plant. <br />2) Authorization for Solin & Associates to do the last two <br />phases of the Zoning Code. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested a brief discussion re the <br />possible harmful effect to the Indian River by the building of <br />new marinas, piers, etc. <br />OCT 241984 <br />J <br />
