Wednesday, November 14, 1984 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />November 14, 1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret <br />C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Absent was Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Vice Chairman, who was having surgery. Also present were <br />Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, <br />OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Scurlock reported that C&J Ambulance Company have a <br />response to the issues raised by the hospital last week re their <br />Certificate of Convenience, and he would like to have this added <br />as Item 4A under Emergency Items; he also wished to add a <br />Proclamation requested by the School Board in regard to the <br />School Library Media Programs. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to add an item in regard to a need <br />to pay the funds due for the boat ramp renovation in Sebastian, <br />which amount will be reimbursed by the DNR. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bowman, Commissioner Lyons being absent, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0) added the above items to today's agenda. <br />C & J AMBULANCE SERVICE - CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE & <br />ATG0VCCTMV <br />Chairman Scurlock noted that the following letter has been <br />received from C & J Ambulance Service and is self-explanatory: <br />N 0 V 14 1994 BOOK <br />I <br />
