r <br />Wednesday, November 20, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,_ <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commiss.ion <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />November 20, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and - <br />Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Pastor Ed Lovelace, First Church of God, gave the invoca- <br />tion, and Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Out -of -County Travel <br />Commissioner Scurlock informed the Board that the Chairman <br />had requested he add an item regarding out -of -county travel to <br />the Regional Coastal Management Seminar. It was felt this could <br />be acted on immediately. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously author - <br />!zed out -of -county travel for any Commission member <br />and appropriate staff to attend the Regional Coastal <br />Management Seminar to be held at Jensen Beach on <br />December 6th and 7th, 1985. <br />Administrator Wright informed the Board that he would like <br />to call a brief caucus immediately after today's meeting, and he <br />would also like to add to the agenda discussion*of a change in <br />BOOK 62 PAGE 767 <br />�NOV 20 198 <br />
