Tim and PLa (Second Reso.) 1/9/95(reso/phase6)Vk/DC/ �� S <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95- 18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME AND PLACE AT WHICH <br />THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED <br />GENERALLY IN VARIOUS SUBDIVISIONS <br />INCLUDING DIXIE HEIGHTS AND VERO LAKE <br />ESTATES, AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS, <br />MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS AND BE HEARD AS TO THE <br />PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCT- <br />ING PHASE VI OF THE WATER MAIN EXTENSION <br />GROWTH PLAN, AS TO THE COST THEREOF, AS <br />TO THE MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND <br />AS TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE SPECIALLY <br />ASSESSED AGAINST EACH PROPERTY BENEFITED <br />THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners <br />of <br />Indian River <br />County has, by Resolution No. 95- 17 <br />, determined <br />that it is <br />necessary for the public welfare of the <br />citizens of <br />the <br />county, and <br />particularly as to those living, working, <br />and owning <br />property within <br />the area described hereafter, that a <br />waterline <br />be <br />installed in <br />approximately 1209 properties hereinafter described; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially <br />assessed with respect thereto shall be $0.159061 per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an <br />assessment roll to be completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Section 206.06, Indian River County Code, requires <br />that the Board of County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at <br />which the owners of the properties to be assessed or any other persons <br />Interested therein may appear before the Board of County <br />Commissioners and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of <br />constructing such water main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to <br />the manner of payment therefor, and as to the amount thereof to be <br />assessed against each property benefited thereby, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />1.
