Tuesday, February 10, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />February 10, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of,County Commissioners; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Bowman requested that approval of the lease <br />with the Pelican Island Audubon Society, Inc. for the Wabasso <br />Island site for an environmental learning center be added to the <br />Consent Agenda as Item L. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Wheeler being temporarily delayed), <br />added the above item to today's Consent Agenda. <br />FEB10 1987 BOOP( 67 Fa.
