Tuesday, April 7, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in'Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />April 7, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock wished to add under his matters a report <br />of a meeting he and Administrator Balczun had with the Construc- <br />tion Industry Management Council (CIMC) re changes in the <br />Building Department. <br />Commissioner Eggert advised that under her matters she would <br />make a brief report on the search for a library site. <br />County Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of an item <br />dealing with the termination of an option agreement on some <br />beachfront property as we did not exercise our option; the <br />property is being sold; and the buyer wants the title cleared. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />added the above described items to today's agenda. <br />Chairman Scurlock advised that he also had received a letter <br />from Joseph Dorsky, Town Manager of Indian River Shores, <br />APR 7 1987 Bou 6 fA,01 18 <br />
