Tuesday, July 14, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />July 14, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Eggert led the Pledge of -Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock had three items he wished to be added to <br />today's agenda: <br />1) An appearance by a representative of Agri-Serv, Inc., to <br />discuss disposal of septage as Item 11 B. <br />2) A short report under the Chairman's matters re negotiations <br />with the auditor. <br />3) A discussion re the Cappelen Lease as Item 12 A. <br />4) A North County Fire District meeting. <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that he would like to make a brief <br />report on the hearing yesterday re the Jail suit. <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition under his matters <br />of a brief report on the Parks & Recreation meeting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added the <br />above described matters to the agenda. <br />[JUL 14 1987 <br />�` BOOK <br />
