Tuesday, August 4, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />August 4, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Absent was Richard N. <br />Bird, who was on in Tallahassee on County business. Also present <br />were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Stan Sanford of the First Baptist Church in Wabasso <br />gave the invocation, and Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of an item regarding insurance on the Fellsmere Library. <br />Chairman Scurlock wished to add a brief status report on the <br />North County Wastewater Special Assessment. <br />Commissioner Wheeler wished to add status reports regarding <br />the Indian River Boulevard southerly extension with respect to <br />the fence at Tropic Villas North and the wall along the frontage <br />of Fairlane Harbor Mobile Home Park. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />to <br />BOOK [HUL s <br />
