Tuesday, August 25, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />August 25, 1987 at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitugac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Bair 1, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Wheeler led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of a'discussion regarding the possible location of the main <br />library in a government complex in the downtown area and travel <br />authorization for her to go to Tallahassee on County business. <br />(Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition of a discussion <br />regarding the DNR purchasing some north beach property. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or <br />add i i <br />There <br />:ions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 28, 1987. <br />were none. <br />BOK <br />
