5/7/90(Reso)LEGAL(Fk) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90- 64 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 12-10.009, F.A.C., <br />TO DESIGNATE A BANK TO RECEIVE THE LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT INFRASTRUCTURE SURTAX; <br />AUTHORIZING THE BANK SO DESIGNATED TO <br />WIRE TRANSFER SAID LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br />INFRASTRUCTURE SURTAX FUNDS TO A BANK <br />DESIGNATED BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TO <br />RECEIVE SUCH FUNDS; AND FURTHER <br />AUTHORIZING THE BANK DESIGNATED BY THE <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE TO DEDUCT <br />THE COST OF THE WIRE FROM THE AMOUNT <br />RECEIVED FOR TRANSFER. <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Revenue has <br />adopted Chapter 12-10.009, Florida Administrative Code, <br />covering Wire Deposit of Revenue Sharing Funds, and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County, in accordance with <br />§212.055(3), Florida Statutes, has levied a Local Government <br />Infrastructure Surtax; and <br />WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the <br />County to receive the Local Government Infrastructure Surtax <br />funds by wire transfer, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. In accordance with §17.075, F.S., and Rule <br />12-10.009, F.A.C., the Florida Department of Revenue is <br />authorized to designate a bank to receive the Local <br />Government Infrastructure Surtax funds state warrant. <br />2. The bank so designated is authorized to wire <br />transfer said Local Government Infrastructure Surtax funds <br />to a bank designated by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br />3. The bank designated by the Florida Department <br />of Revenue is authorized to deduct the cost of the wire <br />transfer from the amount received for transfer. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by <br />Commissioner Bird who moved its adoption.
