<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in the Office of the
<br />Clerk -of the Circuit Court at Vero Beach, in the County of Indian River, on this 1st day of

<br />I' July, 1946, and the following County Commissioners were present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chariman;
<br />B_EYev&r_and R. W. Graves. Absent: Albert 0. Selseth and Frank C. Vickers. Also present
<br />were Marshall 0. Mitchell of the firm of Mitchell, Smith and Mitchell, Attorneys; and Douglas
<br />Baker, Clerk.

<br />STATE OF FLORIDA ss.
<br />Personally before me, the undersigned, an officer
<br />authorized under the laws of said State to administer
<br />oaths, came J. J. Schumann, business manager of the
<br />Vero Beach Press -Journal, it newspaper published in
<br />Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida, who, being
<br />first duly sworn, says that the Vero Beach Press -
<br />Journal is a newspaper which has been continuously
<br />published at least once a week, and which has been
<br />entered as second class mail matter, in Vero Beach,
<br />Indian River County, Florida, for a period of more
<br />than one year next preceding the first insertion of
<br />this publication; that the advertisement. a copy of
<br />which is hereto attached, was published in the Vero
<br />Beach Press -Journal
<br />for ________consecutive weeks, as follows,

<br />County Assessor of Taxes of Indian River
<br />County, Florida, will meet with the Board
<br />of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County, Florida at the Clerk's Office in
<br />the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
<br />Court of Indian River County, Florida, in
<br />the Indian River County Court House at
<br />Vero Beach, Florida. at the hour of 10:00
<br />A. M. Monday, July 1, 1946, being the
<br />first Monday in said month, for the pur-
<br />pose of hearing complaints and receiving
<br />('testimony as to the value of any property,)
<br />real or personal, as fixed by the said Coun-
<br />ty Assessor of Taxes, and for the purpose)

<br />Pursuant to the foregoing "Notice" the County Assessor of Taxes submitted the County
<br />Tax Assessment Roll for the year 1946 to the Board of County Commissioners sitting as a Board
<br />of equalization and which Roll had the approval of the State Comptroller endorsed thereon.
<br />The following. -resolution was introduced by Commissioner S. E. Glover who moved its
<br />adoption as follows to -wit:
