PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES
CONTRACT
SECTION I - GENERAL
This is an Amendment to the Professional Architectural/Engineering Services Contract (CONTRACT)
between Indian River County and Hanson Professional Services, Inc. (foimeriy Hanson Engineers, Inc .) dated
February 10, 1998 .
SECTION V — COMPENSATION
Contract dated Feb. 10, 1998 Professional Services Fee $ 1749500. 00
Amendment No. 1 dated Mar. 21 , 2000 Amended Fee $2201456. 00
Amendment No. 2 dated Dec . 11 , 2001 Additional Services $ 105700. 00
Amendment No. 3 dated Feb. 189 2003 Additional Services $ 159425 . 00
Amendment No. 4 Additional Services P4 105 00

SECTION VI — ADDITIONAL WORK
Additional services work shall include the services of the Civil Engineer, Masteller & Moler, Inc . , as follows :
A . Value Engineering on Site#2 : $ 15550 . 00
1 . Revise the paving, drainage, and utility plan on Site#2 to reduce the sanitary sewer lines, delete
stormwater inlets and curbing and regrade the entrance roads as directed by the County, and as per
the value engineering proposal submitted by Proctor Construction.
B . Stormwater Basin on Site# 1 and Site#2 : $2 , 555 . 00
1 . Revise the stormwater basin on Site# 1 to reduce the depth of the finished pond, and accommodate
the burying of clean concrete debris under the pond bottom as requested by the County.
2 . Revise the stormwater basin on Site#2 to alter the pond shape in order to preserve two existing oak
tress, as requested by the County.
3 . Prepare, submit, and acquire permit modifications for both sites from the Saint Johns River Water
Management District.
SECTION XXI - OTHER PROVISIONS
A. Receipt of an executed copy of this Amendment shall constitute the COUNTY ' S notice to the
ARCHITECT to proceed with the work.
B . All provisions of the CONTRACT not specifically modified shall remain in full force and effect.
C. This Agreement, regardless of where executed, shall be governed by and construed according to the
laws of the State of Florida. Venue for any lawsuit brought by either party against the other party or
otherwise arising out of this agreement shall be in Indian River County, Florida, or, in the event of
federal jurisdiction, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
