The County Engineer reported that s telegram had been received from the Florida Development Commission informing the Bard that.the application for Federal Grant of $40,000.00 to assist in the cost of Indian River County Health Center had been approved. After hearing recommendations of the County Engineer, Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the following payments be authorized for West Wabasso Road right•of-way and said payments to be made from the. State Secondary Road Fund: Parcel 157.1, $300.00; Parcel 181.1, $400.00; Parcel 182.1, $300.00; Parcel 184.1, $316.00 and Parcel 189.1, $300.00. Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by .C©mmissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that $1,500.00 be paid for parcel 137.1, Mowatt property, West Wabasso Road right-of-way and that up to $100.00 over the appraisal is authorized to be paid on any of the remaining parcels. The County Engineer requested authorization to buy tripod and level at a cost of approximately $430.00. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that the request be granted.
