You are directed to make the following changes in the Contract Documents :
1 . Description : Delete 12 Red Bays and add 12 Laurel Oaks in Planting Zone B .
Reason : Red Bay trees are not available .
The change in Contract Price is determined as follows:
Deduct 12 Red Bays ( Bid Item No . 3 . 02B ) = ( 12 each )($80 each ) = ($ 960 )
Add 12 Laurel Oaks ( Bid Item 3 . 02A) = ( 12 each )($ 119 each ) _ $ 1 ,428
ADDITION to the Contract Price = $ 1 ,428 = $960 = $468 . 00
2 . Description : Deduct 64 Red Bays and add 32 Laurel Oaks and 32 Red Maples in
Planting Zone C .
Reason : Red Bay trees are not available .
The change in Contract Price is determined as follows:
Deduct 64 Red Bays (Bid Item No . 3 . 038 ) = (64 each )($70 each ) = ($4 ,480 )
Add 32 Laurel Oaks (Bid Item 3 . 03C ) = (32 each )($ 119 each ) = $ 3 , 808
Add 32 Red Maples (Bid Item 3 . 03A) = (32 each )($ 119 each ) = $ 3 , 808
ADDITION to the Contract Price = $39808 + $3 , 808 - $4,480 = $3 , 136 . 00
3 . Description : Deduct 93 Chain Ferns and add 93 Swamp Ferns in Planting Zone B .
Reason : Chain Ferns are not available .
The change in Contract Price is determined as follows:
Deduct 93 Chain Ferns (Bid Item No . 3 . 02E ) = (93 each )($3 . 20 each ) = ($297 . 60 )
Add 93 Swamp Ferns (Bid Item 3 . 02D ) _ (93 each )($2 . 80 each ) = $260 .40
DEDUCTION from the Contract Price = $260 .40 - $297 . 60 = ($37 .20)
4 . Description : Deduct 531 Chain Ferns and add 531 Swamp Ferns in Planting Zone
