Dear Mr. Nixon:
Please consider this letter and attached documentation as a proposal for an archaeological and
historical survey to be performed to the area south of Oslo Road by G.K. Environmental, Inc.
and Panamerican Consultants, Inc. for a lump sum fee of $995.35.
If this is acceptable, please sign below and we will proceed with the work within seven days of
approval.

Re: A Cultural Resource Assessment Survey of the Oslo Boat Ramp Improvements
Mitigation Project Area in Indian River County, Florida.
This document constitutes an agreement between Panamerican Consultants, Inc. and G.K.
Environmental, Inc. to perform the work described in the attached proposal.
Panamerican Consultants will perform the survey of the limited areas south of Oslo Road
for a fixed price of $995.35. These prices are good for 90 days from the proposal date.
After this time, prices may be altered.
Panamerican Consultants will submit invoices to G.K. Environmental, Inc., 155 McKee
Lane, Vero Beach, FL, 32960, upon completion of work. After receipt of an invoice,
G.K. Environmental, Inc. agrees to pay Panamerican Consultants within sixty (60) days
from the invoice date.
The parties to this agreement shall be responsible for maintaining all required insurance,
including but not limited to, liability insurance and workman's compensation insurance in
accordance with the laws of the State in which the work will be performed.
The parties agree that any dispute arising between them shall be asserted and maintained
in the State and County of the corporate headquarters of Panamerican Consultants, Inc.

Proposal for Coastal Design Consultants
Archaeological and Historical Survey
of the Oslo Boat Ramp Improvements Mitigation Project Area
Indian River County, Florida
Respondent proposes to complete an archaeological and historical survey of a limited area south of
Oslo Road for G.K. Environmental, Inc., of Vero Beach, Florida. The respondent will perform a field
survey in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (PL 89-665) as amended and the
Archaeological and Historic Preservation Act of 1974 (PL 93-291) as amended and will be performed
under the direction of a RPA -registered professional archaeologist. In addition, all work will meet the
guidelines set forth in the Historic Preservation Compliance Review Program of the Florida Department of
State, Division of Historical Resources and any local county requirements. Survey methodology will
employ judgmental shovel testing in areas to be disturbed during mitigation efforts at the site. All soil will
be screened through 1/4" hardware cloth and all material recovered will be stabilized and analyzed at the
respondent's laboratory facilities in Tampa. A recommendation for determination of eligibility or
ineligibility for the National Register of Historic Places will be contained in the report following
completion of the survey. This budget is good for 90 days, after this time, the budget may be modified.
