GENERAL DRILLING AND CONSTRUCTION CLARIFICATIONS Quote # L4251 DATE: May 249 2006 SHAW's proposed pricing is based upon inclusion of this proposal and the following clarifications within any resulting agreement between the parties. • SHAW will load and transport all drill cuttings to the working face of the landfill. Should there not be a working face on site, WM will provide roll-off transportation and disposal services at no cost to SHAW • Well abandonment will be billed at $ 25.00 Per Foot • SHAW will provide all drilling logs. Surveying and As built documentation; • If a no progress obstruction is encountered during the drilling operations, Shaw Environmental, Inc. will attempt to drill through the obstruction for a period of one ( 1 ) hour. If after this time the obstruction is not penetrated Shaw Environmental, Inc. will consult with the Landfill Owner's representative for direction as to continue drilling the well or abandon the well and move to another location. If the representative decides to continue drilling an hourly rate of $300.00 will be charged until the obstruction is passed or Shaw Environmental, Inc. is instructed to stop drilling. • Any work involving Asbestos work will be performed on a time and materials basis. • Revegetation by others. • SHAW obligation to dewater will consist of removing any standing rainwater within the trenches only. This proposal does not include handling of Leachate and ground water including but not limited to pumping, hauling and disposal. • Shaw Environmental , Inc 's pricing is based upon performance of the work in OSHA Level D personnel protection. • Shaw Environmental, Inc. has based the tie-in depths and pipe installation at less than 5' . • Pricing is based on water being available onsite at no cost to Shaw Environmental, Inc.
