The .Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at
the Court House in Vero Beach, on Thursday, November 22nd 1928 at 2 o' clock P.m.
on call. of the Chairman, with the following members of the Board present: John H.
Atkin, Chairman; Geo. A. Braddock; J. 1W. LaBruce; J.J.P.Rami.lton and O.O.Helseth..
Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. '
The Charman announced that this special meeting was called for the purpose of
transacting such business as may properly come before the Board.
It was ordered that bridge on road known as Road H-1 be repaired.
The bond of Clark S. Rice, as Sheriff, in the sum of $2,000000 with.National
Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved.
The bond of C. A. Vandiveer, as Member of Board of Public Instructions, District
No. 2, in the sum of $29000.00 with S.D.Gaines and W.A.Early, as sureties was approve
The bond of Louis Harris, as a member of Board of Public Instructions, District

No. 3, in the sum of $29000.00 with Samuel A. Rice; J .0 .Eokhoff and L .P .Po lsom, as
sureties was approved.
The bond of Walter T. James, as County Superintendent of Public Instrtactions$
in the sum of $1,000.00 with National 'Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was
approved.
. There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board
adjourned -until the regular meeting to be held in December 1928.
