You are directed to make the following changes in the Contract Documents :
1 . Description : Reconcile the Unit Price Items in the Contract
Reason : The original Contract as bid , estimated the quantities for certain items of work . To
properly complete the work the quantities changed as allowed by the Contract . These items
were quantified by actual field measurements
A . Item 1 -D lineal feet of reconstructed seawall cap from 270 lineal feet to 277 lineal at a
bid price of $ 115 per lineal foot for a Net Increase $805 . 00
B . Item 2-D lineal feet of reconstructed seawall cap from 340 lineal feet to 342 lineal at a
bid price of $ 115 per lineal foot for a Net Increase $230 . 00
2 . Description : Provide a Licensed/Certified mangrove trimmer:
Reason : It was necessary to trim the existing mangroves adjacent to the seawall in
the Indian River County area to provide access to the seawall to make the required
repairs this cost was not included in the original bid documents :
Net Increase $375. 00
3 . Description : Differing Subsurface Conditions :
Reason : Subsurface Conditions differed materially from that which ordinarily would
be encountered requiring additional excavation and disposal work beyond that
contracted ( amount agreed is disposal cost) : Net Increase $800.00
