HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/22/1966t §�rh�rd' ai a Saturday, October 22, 1966 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in Special session at the offices of Toni's Letter Service at 2111 - 14th Avenue, adjacent -to the County Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on Saturday, October 22, 1966 at 10:00 oclock A. M. Present were Robert W. Graves, Chairman; D. B. Mccullers, Vice Chairman and Commissioner B. Q. Waddell, Jr. Absent were Commissioners Donald Macdonald and Jerre J. Haffield. Also present was Alfred H. Webber, Deputy Clerk who presented a specimen ballot for the General Election to be held Tuesday, November 8, 1966, and explained to the Board that it was too large to be published as required by law unless it could be reproduced on a smaller scale. After inspection of the ballot and discussion with printers and newspapermen present, it was moved by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Mccullers and unanimously carried that the Board approve the ballot as to form and authorize its publication in the Vero Beach Press Journal on Thursday, October 27, 1966, the size of the advertisment to be reduced as may be necessary, but without becoming illegible.
