Roadway Improvements to East CR 510 and North AIA
AMENDMENT NO . 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING
SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES , INC . AND
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT)
dated June 22nd , 2004 between Kimley-Horn and Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County
(COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I - Project Limits and Description " , " Section
III - Scope of Services " and " Section V - Compensation " of the AGREEMENT .
Amendment Description
This Amendment includes the following :
" SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTIONS " is being modified to incorporate the
following :
9. Vera Cruz Development Turn Lane Improvement (600 ft) — the COUNTY desires to construct
a southbound right turn lane on SR AIA at the vehicle access connection (VAC) to the Vera
Cruz development .
" SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES SECTION ` B — DESIGN SURVEY " is being modified to
incorporate the following :
9. Vera Cruz Development Turn Lane Improvement — the DESIGN LIMITS shall extend five
hundred feet ( 500 ' ) north and one hundred ( 100 ' ) south of the Vera Cruz driveway connection
to SR AIA . Acquisition of cross - sections within the DESIGN LIMITS on SR AIA shall be at
one hundred foot ( 100 ' ) intervals . The cross sections shall extend across the right-of-way and a
minimum of twenty feet (20 ' ) outside the right-of-way.
" SECTION V — COMPENSATION " is being modified to incorporate the following :
The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant
to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following :
A . Professional Services Fee
The basic compensation mutually agreed upon by the ENGINEER and the COUNTY is as
follows :

The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth here in . All other sections of the
AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect and are incorporated herein .
This Amendment No . 1 to the AGREEMENT regardless of where executed, shall be go �� crned by and
construed by the laws of the State of Florida .
