PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR ANNUAL SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES
WITH
Masteller, Moler, Reed & Taylor, Inc.
In accordance with Contract No. 0390
This Work Order No. 12 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated September 2nd, 2003
between Masteller, Moler, Reed & Taylor, Inc. (SURVEYOR) and Indian River County (COUNTY).
This Work Order No. 12 amends the agreement as follows :
SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS '
This Work Order No. 12 is for the SURVEYOR to perform an additional Topographic Survey for the
Grand Harbor Brine property located in Indian River County and lying in a portion of Sections 14 and 15,
Township 32 South, Range 39 East.
SECTION II - SCOPE OF SERVICES
As agreed upon between Masteller, Moler, Reed & Taylor, Inc. and Indian River County, Masteller,
Moler, Reed & Taylor, Inc. shall provide Professional Land Surveying services to complete all tasks as
outlined in this Work Order No. 12 described as follows :
• Topographic Survey:
1 . Cross section top of berm at 100 foot intervals along east side of Brine property. Incorporate
cross sections into existing drawing and recontour.
2. Locate and cross section ditches at 100 foot intervals along south and north property lines.
Incorporate cross sections into existing drawing and recontour.
3 . Perform a Mean High Water Line survey within the property, including location of the high
water mark as identified by others .
SECTION III — TIME FOR COMPLETION
Project shall be completed within thirty (30) business days from Notice to Proceed. Final submittal
(Deliverables) will be provided to the County upon completion.
SECTION IV — DELIVERABLESIWORK PRODUCT
a) Survey shall be supplied as a boundary and topographic base map file.
b) Said base map file will be in state plane positioning and shall include survey horizontal and
vertical control and subsequent topographic data for all anticipated design and planning needs.
c) Deliverables for the final ( 100%) submittal to the COUNTY will consist of a digital file (disk).
The digital file shall adhere to basic COUNTY AutoCAD layer structure as provided.
d) The SURVEYOR shall provide the COUNTY five (5) certified copies and a digital file of the
survey and prepare its Work Product digital versions so that the COUNTY or other consultants
can readily use it for the design and analysis of the area, as defined. It shall contain all
information necessary for third-party surveyor to independently recreate and/or utilize the survey
work. It is acknowledged all final products become property of Indian River County and will be
available for use by the public at large.
e) The SURVEYOR'S work product shall meet or exceed the minimum standards as defined by
Sections II, III and IV or the COUNTY will not approve the SURVEYOR'S request for
payment.

SECTION V — COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept, for services rendered as identified
in Sections II, 111 and IV of this Work Order No. 12 a fee at the standard hourly rates as agreed to by the
Consultant and the COUNTY, and not to exceed $ 22,000 . 00.
The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein. All remaining sections of the
AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed these presents this 27s_t day
of March 2006.
