M . TESTING & ENGINEERING All services performed under this contract shall be supervised and certified by a licensed Professional Engineer ( PE ) registered with the State of Florida and staff employed directly with your firm . Scope of Services All work shall be performed on a unit price basis in accordance with the attached Scope of Services dated September 23 , 2005 and shall comply with Standards enumerated in the RENEWAL OF THE ANNUAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES CONTRACT , IRC PROJECT NO . 0534 WITH A . M . ENGINEERING AND TESTING , INC . Effective Date : October ' 7 2005 . Minimum Specification Requirements as follows : Roadway Construction • In - place moisture density testing of embankment fill , pipe backfill , stabilized sub grade , base course , and curb pads . • Laboratory testing of soils and aggregates including Proctors , Limerock Bearing Ratio ( LBR ) , soil classification , carbonate content ( base ) , and other such specified QC tests . • Preparation and issuance of engineering reports presenting the test results and their compliance with the project specifications . All work shall also comply with the current Florida Minimum Technical Standards , COMPENSATION . The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the Geotechnical Professional agrees to accept , a fee for services rendered according to the " Scope of Services" identified in the attached EXHIBIT "A" Fee Schedule and Man Hours .
