PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR ANNUAL SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES
WITH
CARTER ASSOCIATES , INC .
Additional Services for the proposed Oslo Road Boat Ramp Project
Indian River County Project No . 0381
This Work Order No . 8 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated
September 23rd .. 2006 , between Carter Associates . Inc . ( SURVEYOR ) and Indian River
County ( COUNTY ) . This Work Order No . 8 amends the agreement as follows :
SECTTION I - PROJECT LIMITS
This Work Order 8 is for additional topographic survey services for the LANDSIDE of
the proposed Oslo Road Boat Ramp Facility . The SURVEYORS work will include , but
may not be limited to , location of the wetland area as marked and indicted by GK
Environmental , Inc Services include clearing of lines and adequate coordination with
the biologist to accurately determine the wetland limits and map the lines accordingly .
The SURVEYOR ' S work will be used by the COUNTY and/or the COUNTY' S
Engineering Division for design and permitting of proposed boat ramp facilities .
Limits :
Reference attached Exhibit A — Proposal from Carter Associates Inc .
a . Open approximately 2 , 600 ' ( 1 , 300 ' feet x 2 ) feet of vegetation to locate wetland
line flagging as established by G . K . Environmental , Inc . , Environmental
Consultants ; Revise " Oslo Road Topographic Survey" CAI Project Number 03 -
422S , Drawing Number 17006 C , dated August 2003 , to include new wetland
locations .

SECTION 11 - DELIVERABLES :
a . SURVEYOR shall perform the additional services as outlined .
b . Preparation and submittal of an Topographic Survey updating the previous
Topographic Survey performed by the SURVYEOR
SECTION III — TIME OF COMPLETION
a . Fifteen ( 15 ) calendar days from notice to proceed .
SECTION IV — COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept , a fee for services
rendered according to the " Scope of Services Provided by the SURVEYOR , " identified
in Section I , 11 and III of this WORK ORDER NO . 8 with a maximum charge under this
WORK ORDER of $3 , 690 . 00 . See proposal attached .
All invoicing shall be supported with documentation ( Man hours ) of time and
materials spent prior to payments

The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein . All remaining
sections of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect , and are incorporated
herein .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed these presents this
10th day of duly 2007 .

days of the date of the invoice, in addition to interest of 1 . 5% per month ( 18% per year) on any balance unpaid after
30 days and any costs of collection including , but not limited to , lien costs , court costs or attorneys ' fees involved in or
arising out of the collecti n of any unpaid or past due balances .
