A . M . ENGINEERING & TESTING , INC .
All services performed under this contract shall be supervised and certified by a licensed
Professional Engineer ( PE) registered with the State of Florida and staff employed directly with
your firm .
Scope of Services
All work shall be performed on a unit price basis in accordance with the attached Scope of
Services dated August 28, 2007, and shall comply with Standards enumerated in the
RENEWAL OF THE ANNUAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES CONTRACT IRC PROJECT NO .
0534 WITH A. M . ENGINEERING AND TESTING INC. Effective Date: October 1 , 2007.
Minimum Specification Requirements as follows :
Roadway Construction
• Test Borings
• Asphalt testing based on FDOT guidelines
• In-place moisture density testing of embankment fill , pipe backfill , stabilized subgrade
and base course.
• Laboratory testing of soils and aggregates including Proctors , Limerock Bearing Ratio
( LBR), soil classification , carbonate content (base ), and other such specified QC tests .
• Preparation and issuance of engineering reports presenting the test results and their
compliance with the project specifications.
All work shall also comply with the current Florida Minimum Technical Standards.
COMPENSATION .
The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the Geotechnical Professional agrees to accept, a fee for
services rendered according to the "Scope of Services" identified in the attached EXHIBIT "A"
Fee Schedule and Man Hours .
