Mapping and GIS
This Work Order No . 3 is in accordance with the existing MASTER AGREEMENT
dated August 9th , 2005 between Nick Miller, Inc. (SURVEYOR) and Indian River
County (COUNTY) . This Work Order No. 3 amends the agreement as follows :
Provide professional Surveying and Mapping services for the purpose of professional
consultation , planning , research , GIS/AutoCADD mapping , data sheet creations and other
related services as needed to complete anticipated tasks County Vertical Control Mapping as
outlined in sections I , II , III and IV hereon .
SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS
County wide.
SECTION II — SCOPE OF SERVICES
This Work Order No. 3 is for services to prepare and supply GIS and PDF Maps ,
books, data sheets related to the Indian River County Vertical Control Network
( IRCVCN ) and Bench Marks. Specifically, the existing County, NGS/DEP/DOT/St.
Johns Vertical Control data .
Services shall include all related research , consultation , meetings , field and office
professional Surveying and Mapping procedures to accomplish all tasks as outlined in
the attached ( Exhibit "A") hereon .
SECTION III — DELIVERABLES
As outlined in the attached ( Exhibit "A") hereon . AND a preliminary submittal of the
map and data sheet formats shall be provided to the County for review and approval
prior to final applications .
SECTION IV - TIME FOR COMPLETION
Scope of Services as indicated in section II hereon and Items 1 through 4 of the SURVEYORS
scope of services (exhibit A) shall be completed within 60 calendar days of notice to proceed .
Note: Time for completion is reliant on the county review and comments of the preliminary
submittal .

SECTION V — COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept , a fee for
services rendered according to the all items as defined in Sections Il , III and IV of
this Work Order No . 3 , LUMP SUM of $9,400 . 00
Additional Services: Minor additional services are anticipated . These services will
not be known until review of preliminary deliverables .
Additional Services : Work Order No . 3 , NOT TO EXCEED THE AMOUNT of
$ 1 , 000 .00
The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein . All remaining
sections of the " MASTER AGREEMENT' dated the 9th day of August, 2005 by and
between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, shall remain in full force and effect, and are
incorporated herein .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed these presents this
13th day of March 2007 .

Indian River County Benchmark Database
Scope of Services
Nick Miller, Inc. will compile approomateVy eleven hundred ' 1100) geodetic vertical control points
(benchmarks) throughout Indian River County into a digital format to facilitate efficient staff and public
access to the benchmark data. The database will contain local county benchmarks selected by the
Indian River County Surveyor as well as benchmarks located in the County from the Florida
Department of Transportation, the St. Johne River Water Management District and the United States
Coast & Geodetic Survey.
Nick Miller, Inc. will complete the following four work hems:
I . Create Benchmark Datasheets with the following information:
• Benchmark Designation • Quad Name
• NAVD 68 Elevation (ft) • field Book & Page
• NGVO 29 Elevation fM • Photo of the Monument & Area (if
• Vertical Order available)

2. Create a book containing the Benchmark Datasheets. The book will Contain an index by FILES
sectbMownshiplrarge and an index by road name. Ten ( 10) of the bodes will be created for the
County. The book will also contain a fold out map showing the locations of the benchmarks.

3 Create an ArcGIS geodatabase with all of the information that is included in a Benchmark
Datasheet. The database will be of a single-layer format and will contain links to photos, field
notes and datashel when available .
4. Coordinate with the Indian River Couny Webmaster to develop a method for downloading from
the county website the book containing the Benchmark Datasheets and a PDF form for
benchmark recovery.
The county wdl provide the following items to Nick Miller, Inc.-
1 . Excel spreadsheets containing data for point names, NAVO 88 elevations, NGVD 29 elevations;
descriptions and fled book and page numbers for the Indian River County Vertical Control
Benchmarks.
2. AutoCAD drawing in DWG format that contains a0 of the benchmarks to be compiled in this
project. The benchmarks will be in point format with the benchmark designation being a point
attribute.
3 Digital photos of First and Second Order NGS benchmarks.
4. Abstract and attribute files for the NGS benchmarks.
5. GIS shape files that contain all files necessary for a basemap.
6 . GIS shape files for NGS benchmarks that are currently available.
The fee for these Services shal! be Nine Thousand Four Hundred ($9,400) colors.
