WORK ORDER NO. 8
FOR
PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR ANNUAL SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES CONTRACT NO: 0390
WITH
Masteller, Moler & Reed, Inc.
This Work Order No. 8 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated September 2°d
2003 between Masteller, Moler & Reed, Inc. (SURVEYOR) and Indian River County
(COUNTY). This Work Order No. 8 amends the agreement as follows:
SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS
This Work Order No. 8 is for the SURVEYOR to provide a route survey of the Kanawha Acres
Subdivision from right-of-way line to right-of-way line of 10th Street (Mastodon Rd.) west of the
west right-of-way line of 48`h Avenue, 11th Lane (Pine Road), 49th Avenue (Lake Road) and 50th
Avenue (Grove Road).
SECTION II - SCOPE OF SERVICES
As agreed upon between Masteller, Moler & Reed, Inc. and Indian River County, Masteller,
Moler & Reed, Inc. will perform Professional Land Surveying services for the completion and
preparation of a route survey for Kanawha Acres Subdivision to include the following:
a) Establish survey baseline with monumentation at every change of direction and at a
maximum of 700 foot intervals as required by Florida Statute and Indian River County.
b) Locate and identify all monumentation for establishment of existing right of way.
c) Locate and identify all visible topographic features along the route including but not
limited to power poles, mailboxes, pavement, driveways, culverts, fences, signs, etc.
d) Obtain elevations along the route sufficient for engineering design purposes.
e) Elevations will be based on N.G.V.D. 1929 unless otherwise directed.
f) Prepare and provide five (5) certified copies and one (1) digital file of the route survey
upon completion.
SECTION III — WORK PRODUCT
a) The SURVEYOR shall prepare its Work Product so that the COUNTY or other
consultants can readily use it for the design and analysis of the area, as defined. It shall
contain all information necessary for third -party surveyor to independently recreate
and/or utilize the survey work. It is acknowledged all final products become property of
Indian River County and will be available for use by the public at large.

SECTION IV — TIME FOR COMPLETION
Work Order No. 8 shall be completed within 75 Calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
SECTION V — COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept, a fee for services rendered
according to the "Scope of Services" identified in Section II of this Work Order No. 8, a Lump
Sum (not to exceed) of $7,600.00
The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein. All remaining sections of
the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein.
IN WITNES WHEREOF the partied hereto have executed these presents this 24th day of
January, 2006.
