PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR ANNUAL SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES
WITH
CARTER ASSOCIATES , INC .
Indian River County Project No. 0425
39th Avenue Corridor between 69th Street & 71st Street
Surveying and Mapping Services
Update Boundary and Topographic Survey of the Wabasso Scrub Jay Habitat
in the vicinity of C . R . 510 and 61st Drive .
This Work Order No . 9 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated
September 23rd , 2006 , between Carter Associates , Inc. (SURVEYOR) and Indian River
County (COUNTY) . This Work Order No . 9 amends the agreement as follows :
SECTTION I - PROJECT LIMITS
This Work Order is to update the previous Wabasso Scrub Jay topographic survey
( Carter Project No . 07-410s ) and create survey certificate of topographic data and
mitigation plan (per G . K . Environmental ) with necessary changes to satisfy comments
per:
St . Johns River Water Management District , Department of Water Resources .
The SURVEYOR' S work will be used by the COUNTY and/or the COUNTY' S
Engineering Division for design , permitting and mitigation for the proposed 39th Avenue
project.
SECTION II - DELIVERABLES :
a . SURVEYOR shall perform the additional services as outlined .
b . Preparation and submittal of a Topographic Survey updating the previous
Topographic Survey performed by the SURVEYOR .

SECTION III — TIME OF COMPLETION
a . Fifteen ( 15) calendar days from Notice to Proceed .
SECTION IV — COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept , a fee for services
rendered according to the " Scope of Services Provided by the SURVEYOR , " identified
in Section I , II and III of this WORK ORDER NO . 9 with a maximum charge under this
WORK ORDER of $ 1 ,000 . 00
All invoicing shall be supported with documentation ( Man hours ) of time and
materials spent prior to payments

The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein . All remaining
sections of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated
herein .
