RE All Aboard Florida — Indian River County Cooperating Agency Status

On behalf of the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners, I am writing
to you to respectfully request that Indian River County be deemed a Cooperating Agency in
the All Aboard Florida NEPA environmental review process. All Aboard Florida passenger
rail service is proposed to run through the most populated portions of Indian River County
as well as through several environmentally sensitive areas of the County. We believe that
Indian River County has unique, local expertise with respect to the various aspects of the
environmental review areas enumerated within the Federal Railroad Administration's
P rocedures for Considering Environmental Impacts. Because of our local expertise, Indian
River County should be included as a Cooperating Agency in the NEPA process.
