Home My WebLink About2012-084 BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS AND WIDENING OF 66TH AVENUE FROM SOUTH OF SR 60 TO NORTH OF 57TH STREET IRC PROJECT NUMBER 0545 PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING, GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING AND LAND SURVEYING SERVICES AMENDMENT NO . 11 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN ARCADIS US , Inc. AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA . This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated September 6, 2005 between ARCADIS US , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I — Project Limits and Description" and " Section V - Compensation" . Amendment Description This Amendment includes the following : " SECTION I - PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to incorporate the following: Plans have been prepared for the construction of 66`h Avenue from south of SR 60 to north of 57th Street. The typical section for the segment of 66"' Avenue between 26d' Street and 37th Street provides for a 46400t wide raised median . The plans will be revised to reduce the width of the median to 22- feet for the section between 26th Street and 33rd Street. The location of the northbound lanes will not be affected . The southbound lanes will be shifted 24 -feet towards the east to provide for this median width reduction . The 22 -foot wide median will be maintained for a distance of approximately 350 feet north of 33rd Street for the full length of the southbound left turn lanes at 33rd Street. A transition will be provided from this point northward to widen to match the 46 foot wide median. Stormwater drainage inlets, manholes, and piping improvements are currently included in the plans for the project. The location of the drainage system will not be modified . The plans for the project will include the use of closed flume inlets to convey stormwater runoff under the sidewalk and into the drainage inlets at low points in the roadway. The plans will be revised to provide for paving of 33rd Street for the full length of the Trillium development . The plans will be revised to show the beginning of the 33rd Street paving improvements from a distance of approximately 1600 feet west of 66`h Avenue to 66`h Avenue . The roadway plan sheets , cross sections , and pavement marking and signage plans will be revised to include these additional pavement improvements . " SECTION IV — TIME FOR COMPLETION " is being modified to incorporate the following : The time for completion of the plan revisions included in this amendment shall be sixty ( 60) days from the date of the notice to proceed . " SECTION V — COMPENSATION " is being modified to incorporate the following : The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant to this Agreement fees in accordance with the following : A .
