The contractor has proposed using asphalt millings in lieu of coquina for a base course in the parking areas . I can not find much information on the subject . However, I was told by Geoff Barkett — that he had an informal discussion several months ago with you , and that you indicated that IRC is using millings in numerous applications on public roads . Further, the IRC PM for this project, Lynn Williams, indicated that he had inquired with Chris Mora about this, and Chris had indicated that this may be acceptable . Do you have any information on this use, specifications, construction techniques, testing, or anything like this ? ? I would appreciate your response and any knowledge you can share on this topic .
