Fire Station 13 , 4th Street and 43rd Avenue Site Work , Preparation and Improvements Emergency Services District WORK ORDER NO . 2 FOR DESIGN / BUILD AGREEMENT PHASE IV WITH Barth Construction , Inc . This Work Order No . 2 is in accordance with the existing DESIGN / BUILD AGREEMENT PHASE I dated December 6 , 2012 between Barth Construction , Inc ( Design/Builder) and Indian River County (County) . This Work Order No . 1 amends the agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS This Work Order No . 2 is for the Design/Builder to perform work in connection with the Site Work, Preparation and Improvements to the proposed Fire Station 13 located at 41 ' Street and 43rd Avenue . SECTION II - SCOPE OF SERVICES As agreed upon between Design/Builder County, the Design/Builder shall provide all architectural land engineering design , code review , schematic, design development, working drawings , project schedule and guaranteed maximum price to complete all tasks as outlined in this Work Order No . 2 ; specifically detailed in the attached proposal Exhibit A . SECTION III — TIME FOR COMPLETION & DELIVERABLES/WORK PRODUCT 1 . Project shall be completed as follows : a . Time for substantial Completion shall be 120 calendar Days from notice to proceed . b . Time of FINAL project completion shall be within 30 calendar days of receipt of the County' s review comments . SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The County agrees to pay , and the Design/Builder agrees to accept , for the above described services rendered a total amount of $ 106 , 050 . 00 . Any additional services not described hereon shall be pre-approved by the County . (WO 2 ) , itemized costs and materials expended to complete the Work . Payments shall be in accordance with the original Agreement dated December 6 , 2012 , The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein . All remaining sections of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein . A thorough review and re-design of certain building systems is required to bring the prototype station design into compliance. Additionally any design or engineering changes requested by the Owner will need to be incorporated into the current design. • Schematic, Design Development and Working Drawings — a completed and permitable set of project construction documents including a written specification book. These are services are provided at the 50% "Re-Use Discount". • Project schedule- includes design and construction activities. • Guaranteed Maximum Price — a guaranteed maximum price for the construction of the the fire station building based upon the updated Working Drawings that will be provided as part of this proposal.
