This Work Order No . 16 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated October 3 , 2006 between Bridge Design Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County ( COUNTY) . This Work Order No . 16 amends the agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS 82nd Avenue Bridge over the Indian River Farms Water Control District Lateral D Canal (4t" Street) SECTION II — SCOPE OF SERVICES This Work Order No . 16 is for providing design , permitting and construction related services for the above mentioned project . SECTION III - TIME FOR COMPLETION Design and permitting services — 240 days for completion . Construction services shall run concurrently with the construction work for 82nd Avenue Bridge over the I . R . F . W . C . D . Lateral D Canal . SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the ENGINEER agrees to accept , a fee for services rendered according to the " Scope of Services " identified in Section II and III of this Work Order No . 16 a lump sum cost of $ 81 , 135 . 00 . REGARDING : 82ND Avenue and 4'h Street Bridge Replacement over Lateral D Canal Dear Chris : Pursuant to your request , Bridge Design Associates , Inc. can provide all necessary structural engineering for the above referenced project. The proposed bridge will be a three-lane bridge with 10'-0 shoulders and a sidewalk on the east side of the bridge and utility shelf on both sides . The bridge will be approximately 75'-0 long . Our design will be based on applicable County and F . D. O . T . Standards amd AASHTO LRFD Design Standards . Our services will include design , permitting through Army Corps of Engineers , St, John 's Water Control District and Indian River Farms Water Control District. Construction Phase services will also be provided . Any surveying or property owner research required for permitting is not included in our scope of services . Permitting fees will be the responsibility of the County. The attached Exhibits "A" and " B" are manhour breakdowns of tasks with commensurate fees .
