This Work Order No . 18 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated October 3 , 2006 between Bridge Design Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County ( COUNTY) . This Work Order No . 18 amends the agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS Two (2) Old Dixie Highway box culvert extensions — Station 175 +05 and Station 192+ 80 . SECTION II — SCOPE OF SERVICES This Work Order No . 18 is for providing design and detailing for the above mentioned project. SECTION III - TIME FOR COMPLETION 60 calendar days per review . SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the ENGINEER agrees to accept, a fee for services rendered according to the " Scope of Services " identified in Section II and III of this Work Order No . 18 a lump sum fee of $ 10 , 495 . 00 . REGARDING : Old Dixie Highway Box Culvert Extension Station 175+05 and Station 192+ 80 Dear Chris : Pursuant to your request, we have reviewed the preliminary information provided to our office regarding the proposed widening of the box culvert at Stations 175+05 and 192+ 80 . The existing box culvert at Station 175+05 is 2'4' high by 4'-0 wide and will be widened approximately 16-0 to the west and 16'-0 to the east to the existing right-of-way . The existing box culvert at Station 192 +80 is 2 '-9" high by 5'-0 wide and will be widened approximately 16'-0 east and west to the right-of--ways . Bridge Design Associates , Inc. can provide the design and detailing for the proposed widenings . The existing structure will be utilized as much as possible to minimize the demolition and disruption to existing traffic . In addition to the box culvert extension , slope protection , as required , will be specified . The attached Exhibit "A" is an approximate manhour breakdown of tasks with commensurate fees .
